IDAHO CITY DAYS

Idaho City days is one of our biggest and best events. The entire town turns into a street fair/concert. Music is at every bar and on the street. The event starts each Friday with the cowboy poets at the Gold Mine Grill & Saloon, outside on the Trailer Park Stage. The party goes on most of the night around the fire pit on the patio. BLUEGRASS ON THE MOUNTAIN

The Gold Mine puts on some of the best musical shows  in the region.  The Trailer Park Stage is located in front of the patio out back of the restaurant/bar.

Bluegrass On The Mountain (www.BlueGrassOnTheMountain.com) is our first bluegrass concert.  Some of Idaho's best bluegrass bands will descend upon Idaho City and put on an amazing show.  The 1st annual will take place June 10th, 2023.  Following years will likely turn into a 2 day festival.

CHILI COOKOFF

March 4th, 2023

Chili-cookoff is one of Idaho City's biggest events. Thousands of folks come from all over to try some of the best chili recipes around. The Gold Mine team is the only team to win both the Peoples Choice and Judges Choice trophies in 34 years. So far, it hasn't been repeated. 

RODEOS

Jack Pine Roundup  &  The Gold Dust Rodeo

Idaho City is known for its stellar rodeos. The Gold Dust rodeo has been around a long time and started by Jim Haswell who is largely responsible for creating the arena which bears his name. The Jack Pine RoundUp is relatively new to the game but already boasts the largest rough-stock event in the Idaho Cowboy’s Association. Setting arena records in its 2^nd and 3^rd  years, The Jack Pine Roundup is one of the associations highest payouts for cowboys and cowgirls. As always, rodeo headquarters and the afterparty is at The Gold Mine Grill & Saloon..

TRAILER PARK STAGE

The Gold Mine Grill & Saloon provides LIVE entertainment every weekend all year long. Seven of our cabins face the stage so, when whether permits, you can enjoy the entertainment from the comfort of your cabin.  Come enjoy Idaho City's best vibe, best food, and best stage!

IDAHO CITY 100

Idaho’s biggest and most well-known dirt bike endurance race is the “Idaho City 100”. This grueling dirt bike adventure makes racers traverse some of the most difficult terrain in the world.  Riders encounter logs,  river crossings, and highly technical single tracks.  If you think you have the stones for it, come race the 100. As always, The Gold Mine Grill & Saloon provides music for the event and all events in Idaho City.
